Cranberry Spice Manhattan
A smart cocktail, that is easy to make and packed with flavor. This Manhattan is perfect for serving during the holidays, it's so delicious you'll want to make it a tradition. Making a cranberry spice infused whiskey is a unique touch, combined with the bitters depth of flavor - you've got yourself a cocktail that will knock people's socks off!
1 cup Cranberries, halved
2 cups Whiskey
2 Cinnamon Sticks
1 tsp Whole Cloves
1oz Sweet Vermouth
1 to 2 dashes Stirrings Blood Orange Bitters
Garnish: cranberries, orange peel
Cranberry Spice Infused Whiskey
To make the infused whiskey, add cranberries, whiskey, cinnamon sticks, and cloves to an airtight container, such as a mason jar. Seal and let sit at room temperature for at least 24 hours.
To make the cocktail, place ice in a cocktail shaker. Add the whiskey, vermouth and bitters.
Rub the orange peel around the rim of the cocktail glass.
Strain the drink into the glass. Add a couple of cranberries and garnish with orange peel.
