Featured in our 12 Nights of Cocktails collection inspired by the 12 days of Christmas. This cocktail is inspired by the 6th day of Christmas, six geese a laying because a Boston Sour cocktail uses egg whites in the recipe. The egg whites add just the right amount of foaminess that pairs elegantly with our tried and true Sour Mix.

Ingredients
1.5oz Whiskey
-
3oz Stirrings Sour Mix
2 tsp Powdered Egg White
- 1oz Warm Water
Directions
Egg Whites
Prep your egg white first, us a 2:1 ratio for powdered egg whites. Whisk 2 tsp of egg white powder with 1oz of warm water and let it sit while you gather the rest of your ingredients.
Cocktail
Mix whiskey, sour mix and egg white in a Stirrings cocktail shaker, shake for 15 secs.
Add ice and shake for an additional 30 secs. Strain into a glass and garnish with a cocktail cherry.
Recipe Note
Egg Whites: We chose to use powdered egg whites in this Boston Sour because it is easiest and the most sanitary, however if you're unable to find powdered egg whites you may use real egg whites.
